RESUME

Dr. Olivier Nano is a lead researcher and software design engineer at the European Microsoft Innovation Center in Aachen, Germany. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Nice – Sophia Antipolis in France. He is an expert in model driven engineering, component models and platforms, generative programming and meta-programming, service centric systems. He is also an expert in software technology transfer involving taking an idea from concept to production. He is supervising EMIC involvement in a number of European projects focused on service centric systems (SeCSE, NextGrid, In-Context). He has published in European and international conferences on model driven engineering and service centric systems. His current focus is on service level agreements in service centric systems where he is doing research and development on languages, tools and protocols for autonomic SLA.
